AI Blueprint
Agent Discovery & Technical Specification
A fixed-fee engagement, $4,500–$7,500 depending on the number of systems and workflows, that specifies one custom AI agent before it is built. The fee is credited in full toward the build if you proceed.
- Fixed fee
- $4,500–$7,500, set by the number of systems and workflows
- Credit
- Credited in full toward the build
- Required
- Every production build starts with an AI Blueprint
- Ends with
- A fixed-fee not-to-exceed for the build
Deliverables
What the Blueprint delivers
A focused specification engagement that turns a workflow into a buildable, governed production plan.
- 01Current workflow, data source, and integration review
- 02Use-case specification with success criteria
- 03Architecture, risk, and human-review model
- 04Fixed-fee build not-to-exceed for the next phase
Process
How the Blueprint runs
- Kickoff
- ITECS and your team confirm the workflow, the outcome it should improve, and the people and systems involved.
- System access and interviews
- ITECS reviews the current workflow, its data sources and its integrations with the people who run them.
- Design review
- Your team reviews the proposed architecture, the risk model and the human-review model before they are final.
- Blueprint delivery
- You receive the use-case specification with success criteria and the fixed-fee not-to-exceed for the build.
Participants
Who should be in the room
The Blueprint is written with the people who own the workflow, do the work and run the systems it touches.
- The workflow owner
- The person accountable for the outcome the agent supports and the success criteria it is measured against.
- The people who do the work
- They know the exceptions, the workarounds and where a human must stay in the loop.
- Each system owner
- Access, permissions and data boundaries for every system the agent will read from or write to.
- The build decision maker
- The person who approves the fixed-fee not-to-exceed and the move to a build.

If you proceed, the build is quoted on one of the rungs below with the fixed-fee not-to-exceed the Blueprint sets, and the Blueprint fee is credited in full. If you do not, you keep the Blueprint document.

AI Blueprint or AI Readiness Assessment
The Assessment is the organization-wide roadmap. The Blueprint is the engineering plan for one agent. If you do not yet know which workflow to start with, the Assessment is the better first step.

FAQ
AI Blueprint FAQ
What does the AI Blueprint cost?
The AI Blueprint is a fixed fee of $4,500–$7,500, set by the number of systems and workflows the agent will touch. The fee is credited in full toward the build if you proceed.
What does the AI Blueprint deliver?
Four things: current workflow, data source, and integration review; use-case specification with success criteria; architecture, risk, and human-review model; fixed-fee build not-to-exceed for the next phase.
Do we have to build after the Blueprint?
No. The Blueprint ends with a fixed-fee not-to-exceed for the build. If you proceed, the Blueprint fee is credited in full toward it. If you do not, you keep the Blueprint document.
How is the build priced after the Blueprint?
The build is quoted on one rung of the published ladder, from a Proof of Concept / Prototype at $8,000–$18,000 to a Multi-Agent System / Process Redesign at $55,000–$120,000, with the fixed-fee not-to-exceed the Blueprint sets. Agent Operations after launch is billed separately: $2,500/mo for one production agent.
Should we start with the AI Blueprint or the AI Readiness Assessment?
Start with the Blueprint when you have a defined workflow and need a build plan for one agent. Start with the AI Readiness Assessment ($6,500) when you do not yet know which workflow to start with; it is the organization-wide roadmap.
Does the AI Blueprint apply to regulated work such as HIPAA?
Regulated work such as HIPAA or CMMC/CUI is custom-scoped, with the compliance framework governing the architecture. Standard packages do not apply to those engagements, and the engagement is quoted after scoping.
Was the AI Blueprint called Agent Discovery & Technical Specification?
Yes. The AI Blueprint is the same engagement under a new name. The fee, the four deliverables and the credit toward the build are unchanged.
